Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 26 October 2026

1. Our commitment

We want everyone who visits yachtbooks.io to be able to use it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or screen magnification. This statement covers the website at yachtbooks.io in English and Turkish. The YachtBooks application at app.yachtbooks.io is covered separately.

2. The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This means you should be able to:

  • use every page and the demo request form with a keyboard alone
  • zoom in up to 400% without text running off the screen
  • read all text against its background, including text over photos
  • turn off smooth scrolling and animation with your device's reduce motion setting

3. How we test

We last checked the site on 26 October 2026. We ran automated tests (axe-core) on the main page types in both languages, on desktop and mobile, and measured colour contrast on the rendered pages.

4. Known limitations

  • Product screenshots are pictures of the YachtBooks app. Their text alternatives describe what each screenshot shows, but do not read out every figure in it.
  • The sea chart on the home page has small depth numbers that are faint on purpose. They are decoration, hidden from screen readers, and carry no information.
  • We have not yet finished testing with screen readers. If something does not work for you, please tell us.

5. Feedback and contact

If you find a problem, or need information from this site in a different format, email us. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
